About me
I am originally from the Virginia coast, being a daughter of a Navy mom, but spent nearly every summer in Georgia. That being said, I've lived lots of places, which led me to my husband, and us to recently settle in Mystic, CT. I left my job as a medical biller nearly seven years ago to stay home with our kids. We have 5 kids in our blended family, from toddler to young adult. With that many ages under one roof, I was constantly trying to keep them busy and I sane. Trying to keep up with events, shows, classes, activities, community programs, proved to be quite the job in itself. Enter my introduction to Macaroni Kid as a reader years ago, and today a publisher for this area!
I have the greatest hope that Macaroni Kid will be a helpful resource in this community for parents, local businesses, and community organizations alike. I am so excited and grateful to have the opportunity to be a resource for you!
