At the Otis Library, immerse yourself in the magic of childhood with the enchanting Mother Goose Storytime, where timeless tales come to life in the cozy embrace of literature. Meanwhile, over at the Waterfront Public Library, embark on a journey of discovery with STEM adventures designed to ignite curiosity and inspire innovation.

For those navigating the challenges of caregiving, find solace and support in the Caregiver Support group, a haven for adults to share experiences and find strength in the community. Teens, brace yourselves for a lineup of thrilling events catered just for you, offering opportunities for connection, creativity, and fun. As the weekend approaches, get ready for a flurry of excitement with Egg Hunts, inviting families to join in the quest for hidden treasures, followed by Astronomy Night, where the mysteries of the cosmos await exploration under the starry sky. Lastly, don’t miss the grand finale: the vibrant Irish Parade, a celebration of the Irish culture in New England!

Monday, March 18: 

Mother Goose Mondays at the Otis Library:  Children can bring a small towel or blanket to sit on and enjoy 30 minutes of traditional rhymes, songs, fingerplays, and other activities for those 0-23 months.

Drop-in STEM Adventures at the Waterford Public Library: Dive into a world of STEM exploration at our Drop-In STEM Adventure: Straws & Connectors Kit In-Person event! 

Tuesday, March 19: 

Caregiver Support Group at the Waterford Public Library:  This is a safe space where caregivers, whether caring for a spouse, parent, sibling, child, or grandchild, can come together to share experiences, express feelings, and offer support to one another.

Wednesday, March 20: 

Chess Club at the Mystic Noank: The Mystic Noank Library invites kids grades 3 and up to learn chess strategy and chess sportsmanship and organize games.

Thursday, March 21: 

Teen Game Night at Stonington Free Public Library:  The Stonington Free Library hosts a Jackbox and Pizza Night! Games provided will be The Devils and the Details, Champ’d Up, Talking Points, Quiplash 3, and Blather Round. 

Friday, March 22: 

Baby + Me Playgroup at the New London Public Library:  Join us from 10:00 to 11:00 AM for a delightful story time and play session designed for babies and caregivers.

Saturday, March 23: 

Easter Egg Hunt in Griswold: Hop over to Griswold Parks and Rec for an EGG-citing event! Join us for a FREE Egg Hunt extravaganza from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM, where the whole community is invited to join in the fun!

March Astronomy Night in Preston: Join us on Saturday, 3/23, from 7:30 PM to 9:00 PM for a magical evening of stargazing guided by local astronomer Sean Perkins.

Sunday, March 24: 

17th Avenue Mystic Irish Parade: The Mystic Irish Parade on Sunday! Experience the joy of Irish culture, music, and community as we march through the streets of Mystic.
